Signed at the Taba campus in Butare. The agreement covers digital agriculture, joint research and grant writing, and brings students into our field teams.
ENABLE Rwanda and the Catholic University of Rwanda signed a memorandum of understanding at the Taba campus in Butare on 27 August 2025. The agreement covers digital agriculture, joint research and grant writing.
What the agreement covers
Three things, plainly stated. We work together on digital agriculture tools for farmers. We design and run research together, with the university publishing independently. And we write funding applications as one team rather than two.
What changes for students
Students join our field teams and take on a real piece of the work. The agreement includes plans to identify joint research and internship opportunities.
Thank you
To the leadership at Taba campus for the welcome, and for asking the hard questions before signing rather than after.
