With ENABLE Rwanda's support and funding from Shalom Rwanda, Inc., Alpha Africa translated Alpha Video content into Kinyarwanda for the first time. It is a storytelling tool used around the world for trauma awareness and reconciliation.
Two mobile teams of three people each, with rechargeable projectors and portable speakers, bringing facilitated screenings and guided discussion to community halls, churches, schools and youth centres across Kamonyi District.
Improved emotional openness and trust, stronger community relationships, and a better understanding of forgiveness and reconciliation.
Proposed, running six months once funded. The budget is 10,000 US dollars.
