Trauma response healing sessions

Separate healing sessions for two groups: survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, and young people working through intergenerational trauma and building resilience.

Two groups, met separately, because the conversations are different. Survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi meet as one group. Young people carrying intergenerational trauma meet as another.

How it runs

Ten sessions are planned for each group, led by the ENABLE Rwanda Executive Committee, with session reports and attendance recorded throughout.

Where it stands

The project is in preparation, in Gate Village. Partner organisations have not been confirmed yet.
