A 2026 community needs assessment found that 48.2 percent of households currently use a protected spring, and that 67 percent walk more than one mile to collect water.
What we are building
A solar powered mechanised water pumping and storage system, sited near the Karangara Health Post, the Ngamba Sector Office and Masogwe Primary School, in Kazirabonde Cell.

What it needs
The system is estimated to serve around 16,000 people. Funding still needed is 25,000 US dollars.
